該機通過兩臺擠出機將兩種相同或不同的物料塑化擠入共擠復合機頭，生產(chǎn)出經(jīng)共擠成型號的復合薄膜，從而大大提高了薄膜的物理性能，增加其強度，使薄膜具有良好的阻隔性、氣密性。

該機采用的連續(xù)旋轉(zhuǎn)機頭，產(chǎn)品平整，均勻度好，保證了包裝機，印刷機等后續(xù)工序設備對薄膜的質(zhì)量要求，適合生產(chǎn)復合珠光膜、復合液體包裝膜、絕緣膜、多功能農(nóng)用薄膜等。其運用范圍正在逐步擴大，是塑料制品開發(fā)方向。
